We are saddened to share that Art Gust passed away this week. Art was the longtime host of Jazz With Gusto on Saturday mornings and a co-host of The Time Machine. As the elder statesman of our station, he brought endless enthusiasm and dedication to community radio.
Art served on the steering committee, the programming committee, and showed up for every event with a smile and a willingness to help. More than that, he was our friend — someone whose love for music and people reached across generations and backgrounds. He represented everything community radio strives to be: a place where neighbors connect, learn, and grow together.
Art’s absence will be deeply felt, and his spirit will continue to inspire all of us at KPSQ.
