Road Trip Radio is Northwest Arkansas’ soundtrack for music discovery, blending mainstream favorites from artists like Noah Kahan, Joji, Tame Impala, Hozier, Queen, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, Arctic Monkeys, and more with the local bands and artists shaping the region’s creative scene. The show features a laid-back mix of indie, alternative, folk, rock, Americana, and other genres, while regularly introducing listeners to both established favorites and emerging artists.
Through its Spotlight Sessions, Road Trip Radio brings Northwest Arkansas musicians into the KPSQ studio for interviews, conversations, and occasional live performances, giving listeners a closer look at the people behind the music.
Select episodes also explore specific genres, decades, artists, or musical themes, including special programs dedicated entirely to local music, making Road Trip Radio a place to discover new sounds, revisit favorites, and celebrate the rich musical culture of Northwest Arkansas.
