The Yvonne Richardson Community Center in Fayetteville will reopen on Dec. 17 after significant expansion, featuring new facilities like a teaching kitchen and gymnasium. A ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4 p.m. will be followed by tours. Upgrades to Ralph “Buddy” Hayes Park include restored streams and gathering areas, funded primarily by a voters-approved bond.
