Support KPSQ Through Underwriting
KPSQ is Fayetteville’s independent, listener-supported community station. Underwriting is a meaningful way for businesses, organizations, and individuals to support independent community radio while letting listeners know who you are.
Research shows that local community radio is an effective public relations tool
because it:
- Reaches a diverse and engaged audience
- Strengthens connections between your business and the community
- Builds awareness of your name and presence
- Enhances your public image by demonstrating community support
- May be tax deductible
For questions, you can contact your KPSQ representative or reach our underwriting
team at underwriting@kpsq.org.
Our Coverage Area
KPSQ-LP serves listeners throughout the City of Fayetteville and parts of the
surrounding area, depending on terrain. In addition, listeners from around the world
can tune in through our live audio stream at KPSQ.org.
What Goes into an Underwriting Announcement
KPSQ is a non-commercial station, so underwriting is not advertising. All
announcements follow FCC guidelines.
Underwriting announcements may include:
- Your name or business name
- Your products or services
- Your corporate slogan (value-neutral)
- Your business location
- Your telephone number
- Your website or social media
Announcements may not:
- Be a commercial
- Include a call to action (“visit,” “call today,” “stop by,” etc.)
- Use qualitative or promotional language (“best,” “fastest,” “affordable”)
- Mention prices, discounts, or sales
- Endorse or compare products or services
Announcements are typically 10–30 seconds and are pre-recorded for clarity and
consistency.
